ADDISON LEADERSHIP GROUP, INC, (“ALG”) has created this privacy policy in order explain our privacy practices. The following discloses our information and privacy practices for our ALG website (the “Site”). 

ALG currently owns and operates the website known as JohnAddisonLeadership.com. 

By using the Site, you do hereby warrant and represent that you have read, understand and agree to all terms and conditions stated herein, including our Terms of Use, {available at: https://johnaddisonleadership.com/terms-conditions/} which is incorporated herein by reference, and which govern the use of the services offered by ALG, and that you are giving ALG permission to use and store such information consistent with this privacy policy and our Terms of Service. 

This privacy state applies to any ALG owned website and domain and covers personally identifiable information, anonymous data collection, and aggregate reporting.  Personally, identifiable information is any information that is associated with your name or personal identity. 

A user of the Site is hereinafter referred to as a User,or collectively, the Users.

Information Received by ALG 

Personal Information. ALG collects personal information only if you voluntarily choose to share such information with ALG. You may browse the Site without disclosing any personal information. However, in order for you to take advantage of particular opportunities provided through the Site, we may require that you furnish personal information. When you register your account, sign up for newsletters, complete forms for optional programs, and through communications transmitted to ALG, we may collect information including your name, address, phone number and email address. You also may choose to send ALG personally identifying information in an email message containing information or inquiries about the Site. 

ALG may process the following categories of personal data: 

Communication Data, which includes any communication that you send to ALG, through the contact form on the website, through email, text or social media messaging, social media posting or any other communication that you send to ALG.  This data may be processed for the purposes of communicating with you, for record keeping and for the establishment, pursuance or defense of legal claims.  Our lawful ground for processing this data is the legitimate interest in replying to communications sent to ALG, to keep records and to establish, pursue and defend legal claims. 

Customer Data, which includes data relating to any purchases of goods and/or services, such as name, billing address, delivery address, email address, phone number, contact details, purchase details, and credit card details.  This data may be processed to supply the goods and/or services requested and to keep record of the transaction.  The lawful ground for processing this data is the performance of a contract between you and ALG or taking steps at your request to enter a contract. 

User Data, which may include data on how you use the ALG website and any online services, together with any data that you post for publication on the website or through other online services.  This data may be processed in order to operate the website and ensure relevant content is provided to you, to ensure security of the website, associated online services and business.  Our lawful ground for processing this data is the legitimate interest in the proper administration of the ALG website and business. 

Technical Data, which includes data about your use of the ALG website and online service, such as your IP address, your login data, details about your browser, length of visit to pages on the ALG website, page views and navigation paths, details about the number of time you use the website, time zone settings, and other technology on the devices you use to access the ALG website.  This data may be processed so as to analyze your use of the ALG website and other online services, to administer and protect the website and ALG business, to enable the website to deliver relevant content and advertisements to you and to understand the effectiveness of our advertising.  Our lawful ground for processing is our legitimate interest to properly administer the website and ALG business and to grow the business. 

Marketing Data, which includes data about your preferences in receiving marketing from ALG and third parties and your communication preferences.  This may be processed so as to allow you to partake of any promotions, and to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you and to measure the effectiveness of advertising.  Our lawful ground for processing this information is our legitimate interest in studying how customers use the ALG products and services, to develop products and services, to grow the business and to decide on marketing strategy. 

All Data may be used to deliver relevant content and advertisements to you and to measure and understand the effectiveness of the advertising. 

We will only use your data for a purpose it was collected for or a reasonably compatible purpose if necessary.  In the event we use your data for a new unrelated purpose with will notify you and provide the legal ground for processing the data. 

We may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent where permitted or required by law. 

Cookies and Other Technologies 

When you visit websites on the Internet, your browser may automatically transmit information to the websites you visit throughout every visit. Like many websites, we may use cookiesto collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computers hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We may utilize persistent cookies that only ALG can read and use to save your login information for future logins to the Site, to hold session information, and to track user preferences. We may utilize session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Site.  Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the Site and then close your browser.  You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you will not be able to use all portions or all functionalities of the Site.  

We may also receive data from third parties, such as analytics companies such as Google or advertising networks such as Facebook, or from data brokers or aggregators.  

IP Address 

When you visit and interact with the Site, ALG and/or third parties with whom ALG has contracted to provide services to ALG may collect your Internet Protocol Address (IP Address), which is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider. This number may be identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the Site, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. We use IP Addresses to monitor the regions from which Users navigate the Site and for fraud prevention purposes. 

ALG also collects and uses personal data regarding its contractors, which may include: name, address, job title and other job information, location, compensation information, identification number, contract history, and a copy of contract agreements. 

We may also require you to provide us with your financial information, including billing name, address, Bank account information and credit card number (Financial Information”). 

Only authorized ALG staff have access to your Personal Information in its entirety. Other staff may have access to portions of this information if it pertains to their job duties.  This information will never be shared outside of the ALG organization. 

Sensitive Data 

We do not collect data that includes details about our race, ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, genetic or biometric data.  We do not collect data about criminal convictions or offenses. 

ALG’s Use of Personal Information 

ALG uses Personal Information for the following general purposes: 

  • to provide our products and the service;
  • for billing, identification and authentication, and fraud prevention;
  • to analyze Site usage and improve our products and the Site itself;
  • to contact you and deliver administrative notices and communications relevant to your use our products and services;
  • for internal market research, troubleshooting problems, and detecting and protecting against error, fraud or other criminal activity;
  • for distribution to third-party contractors that provide services to ALG and partners of ALG who are bound by privacy restrictions at least as restrictive as those set forth in this Policy;
  • to enforce our Terms of Service; and
  • as otherwise set forth in the Policy.

ALG may analyze Personal Information and Web Navigational Data based on your interests and may use the analysis from this information in a way that doesn’t reveal a Users personal information (Market Research) in order to: 

  • Market the Site and services provided;
  • Improve the likelihood of a sale to a group of Users; and
  • Increase the likelihood that a group’s experience with the Service is relevant to its interests as a whole.

ALG uses data at the individual level to sell goods and services to Users who express an interest in these goods and services.  ALG may use your cell phone number to call or text you in order to provide the services. We use Financial Information solely as authorized by you in accordance with the requested services 

ALG does not sell or rent your personal information. 


You may opt-out of receiving communications from us, remove your information from our database, and choose to not receive future communications unrelated to the Site. 

You may choose whether to receive correspondence from ALG and whether you want to participate in any ALG program. This information remains on your profile where you can, at any point, easily edit it to indicate that you have changed your mind. Where we are required to collect personal data by law or under the terms of a contract between us, and you do not provide that data when requested, ALG may not be able to perform the contract, and may have to cancel the product or service requested.  If we do, we will notify you at the time. 

ALG’s information retention policy 

To preserve the integrity of our databases, we may retain information submitted by Users for an indefinite length of time. If required by law, we will delete Personal Information by erasing it from our database. We will also respond to User requests to delete or correct account or Personal Information, which you can do by contacting ALG at dayna@johnaddisonleadership.com. 

ALG’s security of collected information 

Your ALG account may be password-protected so that only you and authorized ALG staff have access to your account information. In order to maintain this protection, do not give your password to anyone.   Also, if you share a computer, you should sign out of your ALG account and close the browser window before someone else logs on. This will help protect your information entered on public terminals from disclosure to third parties. 

ALG makes every effort to ensure that your information is secure on its system by backing up data in separate backup drives and uses public key access encryption and firewalls on both our main and backup servers. We also employ customer record managers to protect against loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Only certain authorized ALG staff can access Personal Information, and then only if it is relevant to their job duties. ALG has staff dedicated to maintaining this Privacy Policy and other privacy initiatives, periodically reviewing security and making sure that every ALG employee is aware of our security practices. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, ALG cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. While ALG will use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of all personal information, we expressly disclaim any liability for any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal and/or financial information stored therein, and you agree to hold ALG harmless for any damages that may result there from. ALG expressly disclaims any liability that may arise should any other individuals obtain the information you submit to this website. 

With whom does ALG share information? 

Some ALG content may be “sponsored by” or “presented by” other companies.  This information is aggregate and not linked to specific users. 

Partners may sponsor promotions, contests and sweepstakes that require you to reveal details such as your name, address or phone number. Always check their privacy policy before revealing information about yourself. If you don’t want these sponsors to have your personal information, you can choose to not participate. 

ALG reserves the right to disclose Personal Information from both private and public areas of this website at our discretion, if required by law or if we are given reason to believe, in our sole discretion, that someone is causing injury to or interference with the rights of Users, the general public, or ALG, to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process. 

We will not transfer to a non-Agent third party any Personal Information that is sensitive in nature, such as information specifying your medical or health condition, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership without your prior affirmative consent. 

Finally, ALG reserves the right to transfer, sell and/or distribute all information collected through the Site to an affiliate, subsidiary, or third party in the event of any reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or part of our business, assets or stock. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the new entity follows this Privacy Policy with respect to your Personal Information, as and to the extent required by applicable law. 

ALG may disclose your personal data if a) required to do so by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation, or in good faith to comply with legal process served on the site; b) to protect the rights and property of ALG; c) where our records indicate fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a governmental agency should be made aware of; or d) where your communication suggests possible harm to others, in the event of an attempted breach of the security of the website or a physical or property threat to you or others. 

In the event of a merger or consolidation ALG may transfer user information in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets or similar change. 

Information that you enter when making a purchase will be shared with payment processors, financial gateways and your credit card company to authorize payment.  Such information may be shared with necessary third parties solely for the purpose of carrying out the transaction. 

How can Users edit their information? 

ALG believes strongly in giving you the ability to access and edit your Personal Information.  You can view, update and correct your account information. You may edit your account information at any time — all you need is your username and password. 

So that we can protect the integrity of sensitive data, there are certain pieces of information, such as your age, that you cannot alter yourself. For example, since children under 18 are not allowed to register as Users, we need to take reasonable measures to preserve the accuracy of our Users’ ages. Our databases automatically update any Personal Information you edit in your profile, or that you request we edit. Information remains in our databases and becomes the property of ALG upon submission. 

Notification of changes 

ALG’s security and privacy policy are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary. This policy might change as ALG updates and expands the Site. ALG will endeavor to notify you of these changes by email, but will not be liable for any failure to do so. ALG also encourages you to review this privacy policy periodically. Your California Privacy Rights 

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California customers are entitled to request information relating to whether a business has disclosed Personally Identifiable Information to any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Except explained elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, the COMPANY will not sell or transfer your Personally Identifiable Information with third party companies for their direct marketing purposes without your consent. California customers who wish to request further information about our compliance with this statute or who have questions more generally about our Privacy Policy and our privacy commitments to our customers and users should not hesitate to contact the COMPANY. 

Users from outside the United States 

ALG and its Site are based in the U.S., and the Companys offices are headquartered in the U.S. Please be aware that information you provide to ALG that it obtains as a result of your use of the Site may be processed and transferred to the U.S. and be subject to U.S. law. The privacy and data protection laws in the U.S. may not be equivalent to such laws in your country of residence. By using the Website, participating in any of the services, or by providing ALG with your information, you consent to this collection, transfer, storage, and processing of information to and in the U.S. ALG will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that you data is treated securely in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
