We can all think of that one person who is serious We can all think of that one person who is seriously going the extra mile. The person who steps up when it's needed. The person who brings a little extra sunshine (or donuts) in the morning.

Today, I want you to think of someone you work with who deserves just a little more recognition for being themselves and send them an e-mail, message, or note. I've got my pen out...will you join me?
Wishing my @Primerica family an amazing convention Wishing my @Primerica family an amazing convention this weekend!

Take it all in and enjoy every moment!
If you're stressed out, join the club. Just hearin If you're stressed out, join the club. Just hearing all of the hubbub on the news for .2 seconds could stress even the most level-headed person out these days.

When stress starts to build in yourself or within your team, how do you respond? What does your answer to this question say about you?
One of the worst things about bad advice is that s One of the worst things about bad advice is that sometimes it is given with good intentions. So I always say to take any advice with careful consideration of who's giving it because your choices, regardless of who has influenced them, are yours. Always know whose two cents you're pocketing.

Read my blog on the 5 Traits of Naturally Resilient People and learn how you can stop sinking into fits and pits of failure and start rising from the ashes.
And those two things mean everything! And those two things mean everything!
As a leader, building self-control is so important As a leader, building self-control is so important. Everyone is looking to you. You don't have the luxury of having bad days and making poor choices. And I'm not just talking about while you are on the clock; the choices we make after-hours can be as detrimental to our careers as those we make inside of the office.

If you know you struggle with self-control or you think some information might be valuable to help someone else before they self-sabotage, check out my blog, How To Build Self Control, and access some tips and techniques for staying cool on the outside even when you are boiling on the inside.

I just want you to know that being aware of the fact that you might benefit from some pointers when it comes to self-control is a win itself. Admitting we are human and seeking advice to help us grow is real leadership at its best!

To grow up and see your kids do great things with their lives, to have caring hearts, to lend helping hands, to show the world consideration...there isn't much better.

Our children are our legacy.

Happy Father's Day!
